I believe politics is very personal to an individual. Political thoughts have been simplified by the notion of left and right. With time, one becomes a mix of opposing views and cannot be boxed into the classical views of left and right. Closest I think of myself as a believer of “liberal conservatism”

My politics is based on the following core tenets:

• Democracy is the core of a progressive society
• Education as a driver for societal change
• Entrepreneurship and SME business as catalyst for social mobility
• A strong state is needed to bind people together
